Use JavaScript, Basic 3D Software, and ThreeJS to Create Animations

A person shared an animation they made with WebGL and ThreeJS. They did it with flip books, selective physics, instances and post-processes. They also used techniques including tone mapping, contracts, bloom, upgraded blurs, anamorophic DOFs, new grain and noise materials. They added motion blur to it. It has a rate of 60 frames per second. The person wanted to know what others thought about it.

The first comment was a question about how somebody would get started making something like that. Someone answered them and said it would be wise to start learning JavaScript and basic 3D software after that. Then the person should move on to ThreeJS. The person added that there are a lot of online tutorials for these coding languages.

The original designer wrote back and said that light-wise, the design is simple. It has two sources of light that are animated and moving toward the camera. The 3D female figure was used. The rest are just boxes in different shapes in front of a mesh background. They added that they were lazy and did not do much with animation. They covered the screen when the mesh goes through the female figure. The Embergen tool was used, and it has a free two-month trial.

One person wanted to know if it was made with 3D software. Another person commented that the geometry, physics and lighting can all be done in Three JS. They said the human model was an external project added after that. A person wanted a link to the tutorials and software used for the animation. They also wanted a link to the original poster's and designer's website, which was provided.

An individual had a question about why they could not pull off a simple animation, but this designer shared an incredible thing. They said they were jealous. Others remarked that it was insane or awesome and they would love to learn how to do the same thing. One person said that the design is not an accessible one. Other viewers remarked that the design was cool and that it was a most welcome distraction. For more information click here https://v.redd.it/dy1s3xj34yv51.
