Located in the heart of the Second City, Chicago, kohactive is a creative digital agency founded in 1998. Meeting with startups and Fortune 500 companies, this group of digital strategists meets with their clients and develop digital solutions from apps to management systems. Utilizing Ruby on Rails, PHP, JavaScript, and other forms of technology, they first learn about their clients in order to identify the true goals of the project. From there, a blueprint is built to visualize what, exactly, the product will be. Once agreed upon by the clients, test scenarios are acted out, the design is set, and the products are developed to be launched with minimal function that is then added to in the following weeks to minimize error. With this method, they are able to create products that do not currently exist.
